500 Global, a global venture capital firm, hosted Demo Day on January 18 in collaboration with the Philippines’ corporate venture builder 917Ventures, marking the culmination of a ten-week virtual accelerator program designed to scale ten 917Ventures portfolio companies.

Held at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, Philippines, Demo Day showcased ten of the country’s startups with exciting potential across e-commerce, fintech, marketplace, data, edutech, business to business (B2B) software as a service (SaaS), media and entertainment.

They presented to a diverse audience of ecosystem stakeholders, industry leaders and government officials, with the potential for partnership opportunities with the Globe Group, the Philippines’ top digital solutions platform, and the Ayala Corp, one of the Philippines’ largest conglomerates.

Coached by 500 Global’s network of world-class mentors, the companies underwent training to create sustainable growth marketing strategies and build solid foundations to help them build their next stage of growth.
