Singapore telco Circles Global announced Thursday it has completed the acquisition of the Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) business of Pareteum, a US-based cloud software communications platform company with operations in multiple regions around the world.
Following the completion of the acquisition, Circles Global will welcome Pareteum’s employees, partners, and customers to the Circles team, Circles Global said in a statement.
Together with Pareteum, Circles Global will work closely with them to deliver top-tier products and services across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Americas and to position the business for sustained future success.
“Circles-X, our digital telco software as a service (SaaS) platform was built on the success of our Circles.Life digital mobile brands starting in Singapore and expanding to other Asia Pacific (APAC) countries. The Pareteum acquisition will take this one step further and accelerate our ability to help telcos reinvigorate existing mobile brands and launch digital native brands with new capabilities globally,
“Through this acquisition, Circles Global will also expand into the Mobile Virtual Network Enabler segment, where the market is fragmented with legacy players,” said Abhishek Gupta, Co-Founder of Circles Global.

The Pareteum platform connected people and devices around the world using the secure, ubiquitous, and highly scalable solution to deliver data, voice, video, SMS/text messaging, media, and content enablement.
Circles Global is a digital telco SaaS platform headquartered in Singapore with operations across the globe. Earlier this year, it launched its Circles-X research and development centre in Singapore as the telecommunications provider aims to expand its SaaS and 5G capabilities.

This world’s first cloud native, full stack digital telco platform provides global telcos with a best-in-class experience and an ecosystem of digital services to its customers, empowering the telcos to deliver game changing outcomes such as sizable improvements in net promoter score (NPS), average revenue per user (ARPU), operating cost and agility for telcos.
