LEET Technology Inc. (LEET), a United States’ esports gaming platform provider, announced Wednesday it has partnered with Filipino mobile services provider Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) to develop Smart GIGA Arena, the first all-in-one online esports gaming platform in the Philippines.

Enabling Filipinos to pursue their mobile gaming passion, Smart GIGA Arena is built on a proprietary esports and social gaming platform, by LEET, LEET said in a statement.

This platform on the fastest 5G network in the Philippines is designed to give Smart subscribers a holistic experience in competitive gaming – from ranking up in a nationwide leader board to winning cash prizes, it added.

It is also focused on building casual-competitive communities through continuous in-house and branded tournaments.

“Smart GIGA Arena is the Philippines’ first all-in-one esports platform that brings the total esports experience at the fingertips of Filipinos. We are very pleased to collaborate with LEET in developing this game-changing platform that gives our subscribers a venue to fuel their passion in mobile gaming and showcase their skills and talents,” said Jane J. Basas, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

The core features of this proprietary platform by LEET include a tournament system for e-sport players; a membership system for user profiles; a social system with chat functionalities and feeds; an arcade system for casual players to compete; a wallet system for micro-transactions within the platform; a page for streaming of third-party live streams and videos; and also a pay-out system for a prize pool cash out.

With this collaboration, LEET will support Smart on all server hosting, network and platform availability for this integrated esports and gaming platform. It will also ensure that the network is adequate and optimized for user experience at all times.

“LEET congratulates Smart for its foresight in offering GIGA Arena esports gaming platform to serve its customers in the Philippines.
