Hong Kong based Crypto.com has partnered with noted blockchain node service Alchemy to establish Crypto.com’s developer platform. This collaboration expands the company’s chain support ecosystem as it takes another significant step towards its Mainnet launch. The partnership is set to give rise to a suite of developer tools and services that allow Crypto.com chain partners to develop high-quality apps.
In a press release, Crypto.com described the partnership as the second major chain partnership forged by Alchemy, a highly-regarded blockchain developer platform responsible for the underlying tech powering $15 billion worth of on-chain transactions. Alchemy is behind Supermode, the most popular Ethereum API worldwide relied upon by around 70 percent of the leading Ethereum apps globally. Alchemy’s API is being used in transactions in nearly all countries worldwide.
The partnership, according to Crypto.com, will minimize the cost of operations and maintenance for app developers, who are expected to benefit from the company’s improved node service including hosting. As a result, developers and integration partners can see better cost-effectiveness for their products. The integration with the APIs supplied by Alchemy will make the Crypto.com chain more accessible to developers, providing the benefit of rich transaction monitoring and broadcasting.
In a statement, Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said that it has been a top priority for the company to expand its ecosystem and attract the best partners to support application development on the Crypto.com chain. “We’re excited to partner with Alchemy to create tools that simplify and speed up the ability for developers to build on the Crypto.com Chain. This announcement complements recent milestones such as the Crypto.com Chain Explorer and Crossfire, the Crypto.com Mainnet Dry-Run starting on 18 January,” he said.
Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswaathan also shares enthusiasm about the partnership, praising Crypto.com as a partner that has the potential to usher in the next generation of Web3. “Alchemy is super excited to be partnering with Crypto.com to build out a developer platform for their new chain. We are excited to have found such a partner in Crypto.com, and are looking forward to seeing what people create within this new game-changing ecosystem,” Viswaathan enthused.
