TOKYO, June 19, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Webull Securities (Japan) Co. Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “Webull Japan”), a Japanese subsidiary of the Webull Group, began offering trading services for domestic stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange stocks in June of this year.
Background
In December 2021, the Webull Group acquired a securities company that is a member of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and has since then been preparing to offer domestic stock trading services in Japan. In April of this year, after receiving approval from the Japanese regulators, Webull Japan release the Japanese version of Webull’s popular mobile securities trading app, offering US stocks and ETF trading features. As for the Japanese markets, since the beginning of May, the Nikkei 225 Stock Average has continued to hit post-bubble highs, attracting the attention of investors around the world. In light of this situation, Webull Japan is now happy to offer domestic stock trading service using the Webull App for customers living in Japan.

Overview of the New Service
Using the Webull App, over 4,000 stocks, ETFs, and ETNs listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Prime, Standard, and Growth markets) can be traded. In addition to basic features such as multi-functional charts, trading prices, and price board information, the app is also equipped with tools such as industry-specific heat maps, quantitative evaluations, and market watches, allowing customers to analyze, select stocks in a multifaceted manner in order to support client transactions.
The Webull trading platform launched in the United States in 2018 through a subsidiary of Webull that is a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission-registered broker-dealer and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member.
