Intellectual Property Sharing Session

In conjunction with Asia Hardware Battle (AHB) 2018, TechNode, together with IPOS and ACE, is co-organizing an Intellectual Property sharing session for all AHB’s applicants and all entrepreneurs who are keen to learn more about IP protection. This IP sharing session is facilitated by IP Strategist, Dr Huang Zhiqiang.

Calling out all SG hardware tech companies to apply for Asia Hardware Battle (AHB)! This is an annual competition run by TechNode with the goal to source the best uprising hardware stars in the region.

July ~ Aug: Submit application online (no fees)
21st Sept: Top 10 shortlisted SG companies will pitch to a panel of judges at Jurong Innovation District. Top winner from Singapore will be competing with other cities’ top winners in Shanghai in mid-Oct (all expenses covered).

Companies Eligibility:
1. Hardware tech companies
2. Pre-Series A or with funding of less than $5mil
3. Must have prototype

Here are the prizes for this year’s battle:
Gold: RMB 50,000 (at the grand finale)
Silver: RMB 30,000 (at the grand finale)
Bronze: RMB 10,000 (at the grand finale)

– Top 10 shortlisted SG teams will have a free ticket for TechCrunch Shenzhen 2018
– Top 10 shortlisted SG teams will enjoy a 30% discount price for getting 7 free workstations from NodeSpace for 6 months
– All applicants will enjoy a discount price (8,000 RMB) for a standard booth of TechCrunch Shenzhen 2018
– Top 3 teams (at the grand finale) will get 7 free workstations from NodeSpace for 6 months
