Malaysia-based lending technology provider Juris Technologies Sdn Bhd (JurisTech) has partnered with Thai-listed enterprise software company TBN Corporation to develop artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital lending solutions for Thailand’s financial institutions, initially targeting the non-bank lending segment.

The partnership aims to integrate the lending process, from customer onboarding and credit assessment to loan management, collections, debt restructuring, and recovery, the firms said in a statement on last Thursday.

The companies plan to combine JurisTech’s AI lending technology with TBN’s local market expertise to reduce manual processes, improve credit decisions, and help lenders meet regulatory requirements.

Under the partnership, JurisTech’s AI capabilities will be integrated into lending workflows to automate document processing, improve credit assessment, support lending decisions, and strengthen risk management while retaining human oversight.

The collaboration will initially focus on Thailand’s non-bank lenders, which serve consumers and small businesses, including borrowers with limited credit information.

It is noted that this segment also faces rising compliance demands, pressure to reduce operating costs, and growing expectations for faster services.

TBN Chief Executive Officer, Panayu Sirikrachangsri, said Thailand’s lending market faces challenges including limited access to credit, high operating costs, incomplete borrower information, and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

These are compounded by fragmented technology systems that require repeated data transfers and manual intervention, slowing the introduction of new lending products and policies, according to him.

Panayu also said the partnership aims to help lenders meet regulatory requirements while improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Meanwhile, JurisTech Chief Executive Officer See Wai Hun said the value of AI lies in its application across the lending process rather than its deployment in isolation.

“At JurisTech, we believe the future of lending will not be defined by AI alone, but by how effectively AI is applied across the entire credit lifecycle, from customer acquisition and onboarding to decisioning, servicing and collections,” she said,

See added that combining JurisTech’s lending expertise with TBN’s local presence and technological capabilities would help financial institutions move beyond fragmented digital systems towards more integrated lending operations.

The agreement marks the beginning of the collaboration, with both companies aiming to provide lending technology across the entire credit lifecycle.

TBN recorded revenue of $11.34 million and net profit of THB19.76 million for FY2025.
