Thomson Reuters has introduced a Multinational Profile for its CoCounsel Legal platform, bringing legal research content spanning more than 100 countries and territories into one workflow. The company announced the capability on October 15 as part of a wider rollout of its next-generation legal AI product.
The feature is designed for legal teams working across jurisdictions, including regulatory and compliance projects requiring a comparison of rules and sources from several markets.
The new profile draws on Thomson Reuters content and selected official legal and regulatory sources. According to the company, users will be able to compare requirements across countries, identify issues needing local advice and inspect source material behind answers.
The next-generation CoCounsel Legal also includes matter-specific workspaces, document-review tables and integrations with document management and productivity tools. Thomson Reuters cautioned that some features and integrations will vary by country.
Thomson Reuters said the upgraded service is available in the United Kingdom, with broader availability planned in markets including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates by the end of October 2026. The Multinational Profile is also being introduced for customers in the United States, Europe, the UK, Canada and Australia during October.
