Hong Kong-based Mint Incorporation said its majority-owned Axonex Robotics subsidiary has signed a two-year OEM supply and licensing agreement with Ireland-based Centridex to assemble, test and distribute Axonex robotics products in Ireland and selected European markets.
Mint said the program has a potential value of about €3 million over two years, with an initial order package worth about €450,000 covering robot kits and platform licensing arrangements.
Centridex to assemble and distribute robots in Ireland
Under the agreement, Axonex will supply robot kits, platform licenses, technical standards, software and platform technology. Centridex will handle local assembly, testing and distribution of finished robots.
Mint said the products are expected to include educational robots, cleaning robots and the company’s Nex-class semi-humanoid robot.
Mint uses OEM model for European expansion
Mint Chairman and CEO Damian Chan said the arrangement is intended to create a local assembly and distribution base that could support broader access to European customers without requiring Axonex to build the entire operating footprint itself.
The agreement gives Mint a channel into Europe, but the €3 million figure is described as potential program value rather than guaranteed revenue. Only the approximately €450,000 initial order package is specifically identified in the announcement.
Mint did not disclose expected unit volumes, delivery schedule beyond the initial shipment, margin structure or country-by-country distribution rights outside Ireland.
