Malaysia’s Tune Protect, through its reinsurance arm Tune Protect Re, will offer embedded travel insurance solutions across Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

In a statement on Thursday, Tune Protect said it has expanded its partnership with online booking platform Airpaz for the move, following a successful launch in Malaysia in 2025.

The collaboration can make travel protection more accessible to customers by seamlessly integrating insurance into their flight booking journey, Tune Protect noted. The integration allows customers to obtain coverage instantly during the booking process, with digital policy issuance, easy access to policy information, and convenient claims support.

The offering is supported by Tune Protect Re, working with Tune Protect Malaysia as its insurance partner in Malaysia. The cooperation also features regional insurance partners Oona Insurance Indonesia in Indonesia, Krungthai Panich Insurance in Thailand, and Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation in the Philippines.

Janet Chin, CEO of Tune Protect Re, said “Through collaborations with trusted partners across the travel ecosystem, we remain focused on broadening access to travel protection and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of travelers across Southeast Asia.”
