AI infrastructure company Zero Gravity (0G) plans to invest at least S$20 million in Singapore over the next five years and establish the city-state as its global headquarters.

The company announced the plan at 0G Dev Day Singapore 2026, held at the National Gallery Singapore. It said S$10 million will go toward establishing and growing its headquarters and operations in Singapore.

0G also pointed to an existing S$5 million research collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU), with a further S$4 million planned for research collaborations with universities and other academic partners.

Another S$1 million is being allocated to AI and badminton research with NTU and YB Badminton Academy. The work is expected to explore applications including performance analysis, training and earlier identification of injury risks, with 0G also raising the possibility of a badminton foundation model.

Separately, 0G Singapore said it will commit S$265,000 annually over three years to a youth badminton partnership covering development, international competition and the use of emerging technologies in sport.

The company also showcased 0G Private Computer, which it describes as infrastructure for privacy and verification in sensitive AI workloads, and BestCEO, an AI product aimed at business users.

Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information and Health Tan Kiat How delivered the keynote at the event. 0G said the event received close to 3,000 registrations.

The Singapore commitment expands 0G’s presence across research, talent, operations and commercial AI applications. TNGlobal is separately pursuing a follow-up interview with Michael Heinrich, CEO and Co-Founder of Zero Gravity Labs, on how the Singapore headquarters fits into the company’s wider infrastructure strategy.
