Healthcare information company MIMS Group is expanding its clinical decision-support products and medical communications business as it pushes into additional markets under a restructuring that began after Sohil Goswami became Group CEO in January.
The Singapore-headquartered company said it has launched MIMS Pulse, a new clinical decision-support platform designed to combine its medicines data and clinical knowledge with deployment and integration options for healthcare workflows.
eMIMS Plus moves beyond Australia
MIMS is also expanding eMIMS Plus, a digital medicines-information platform first launched in Australia. The company said the product is now available in India and Malaysia, with plans to expand across Southeast Asia, add new clinical modules and extend into other healthcare categories through Drugs4Dent.
The company is using MIMS Pulse and eMIMS Plus as the base for a broader global clinical decision-support offering. It did not disclose revenue, customer counts or adoption metrics for the new platforms in the September 28 announcement.
Medical communications expands into US and UK
MIMS said its Medical Communications business has added commercial capabilities in the United States and United Kingdom as it seeks work with new client segments and global life-sciences companies.
The company is also developing digital events, AI-enabled content capabilities and new customer-engagement models. MIMS described the broader direction as a move toward more connected, intelligence-led services using its healthcare content, data and market relationships.
Goswami said the group is trying to turn its long-standing medicines information and healthcare relationships into new digital products, platforms and services while expanding internationally.
MIMS says it operates in 17 markets and has more than two million healthcare-professional subscribers across its drug and resource portal and publications.
