Techsauce Global Summit 2026 concluded in Bangkok last month, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders and policymakers from 60 countries to explore the technologies and partnerships shaping Southeast Asia’s digital
economy.
Held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center under the theme “The Race to the NEXT…,” the summit connected global technology expertise and capital with regional businesses and innovators. More than 1,000 C-suite executives and 500 investors participated, alongside a business-matching program that facilitated over 1,500 meetings.
The gathering comes as advances in AI and shifts in global supply chains open new opportunities for Southeast Asia. Discussions focused on how businesses and governments can respond from integrating AI into company operations to developing technology-enabled industries and strengthening collaboration across markets.
“With global supply chains and emerging technologies shifting, Southeast Asia has a rare window to become a global hub for innovation and capital, moving beyond its traditional role as a manufacturing base,” said Oranuch Lerdsuwankij, CEO and Co-founder of Techsauce.

Connecting Capital, Technology and Markets. The summit’s business-matching program put that mission into practice, giving participants a setting to meet prospective investors, customers and partners. These connections underpin Techsauce’s work to position Thailand as a “Tech Gateway of Southeast Asia,” linking the region’s entrepreneurial and business communities with international networks.
The agenda reflected the range of participants needed to advance the digital economy. Founders and investors joined corporate decision-makers and public-sector leaders to examine both the commercial potential of emerging technologies and the organizational and policy changes needed to adopt them.
AI Adoption Moves to the Center of Business Strategy. In a keynote on “AI-Native” enterprises, Dr. Kai-Fu Lee, AI pioneer, investor and former Google China executive, outlined how declining AI costs are expanding the possibilities for business transformation.
He urged companies to look beyond individual AI tools and reconsider how their organizations operate. His proposed approach combines multi-agent systems with greater individual accountability, enabling AI to take on more execution while people focus on vision, judgment, creativity and trust. The address highlighted a central challenge for companies pursuing AI adoption: progress depends as much on leadership, talent and organizational design as it does
on the technology itself.
Bringing Industry and Policy into the Conversation. The emerging Healthspan Economy offered another example of how technology is creating opportunities that span industries and public policy. Thailand’s Minister of Public Health, Pattana Promphat, outlined the country’s ambition to become Asia’s longevity hub, drawing on AI and genomics to support a shift toward preventive and personalized healthcare.
In closing remarks, Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, emphasized the summit’s national significance and the government’s readiness to translate its insights into policy. “Techsauce is no longer just a conference; it is a platform Thailand should be proud of,” he said.
Across these discussions and its business-matching program, Techsauce Global Summit 2026 brought the region’s growth ambitions into conversation with the capital, expertise and policy support needed to advance them. The next step for participants is to translate those connections into investment, technology adoption and partnerships across Southeast Asia.
