Sea Limited, the Singapore-based operator of the Shopee, Garena, and Monee platforms, will adopt NVIDIA‘s next-generation Vera Rubin computing platform to expand its AI systems.

In a statement on Wednesday, Sea Limited said the cooperation will become the first enterprise deployment in Southeast Asia. No financial terms were disclosed.

Vera Rubin is NVIDIA’s latest AI platform, a successor to its Blackwell line. The first systems were delivered in the second half of 2026. The added computing power can help Sea Limited build and deploy AI models and software agents at greater scale.

AI is already used across three businesses of Sea Limited. At its Garena gaming unit, teams have built more than 1,300 AI chatbots, workflows, and agents, along with in-game companions.

At Shopee, its e-commerce platform, AI tools can help sellers write listings and reach buyers. It supported a 14 percent year-on-year rise in the purchase conversion rate in the first quarter.

At Monee, its financial-services arm, AI is used for fraud detection and credit scoring. Monee’s latest credit-risk models, built on transformer-based systems trained on activity across its platforms, lifted loan approval rates by about 10 percent while keeping risk at a similar level.

The move deepens NVIDIA’s presence in Southeast Asia and aligns Sea Limited with a wave of large technology firms racing to secure advanced AI chips. Sea Limited framed the investment as part of becoming “AI-native.”
