Maya Bank has introduced a shared credit limit for eligible customers who hold both the Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card and the Maya Black Credit Card.
The arrangement lets customers use either card against one total credit limit rather than receiving a separate limit for each product. Purchases on either card reduce the same available credit balance.
Maya said the setup is intended to let cardholders choose between the different rewards attached to each card while managing both through the Maya app.
Cashback and miles under one credit limit
The Landers Cashback Everywhere Credit Card offers 5 percent cashback at Landers Superstore, 2 percent on dining and 1 percent on most other eligible transactions. Cashback can be used toward purchases at Landers.
The Maya Black Credit Card, meanwhile, offers up to 10x Maya Miles at participating Maya Black Preferred Merchants, with miles redeemable for travel and lifestyle rewards.
Each card maintains its own statement of account even though the available credit is shared. Maya said cardholders can monitor spending per card and the remaining shared limit through the Maya app.
Maya Bank’s current credit-card terms define a shared credit limit as the total credit limit that may be shared across two or more eligible credit-card accounts issued to the same cardholder.
