Fraud prevention and compliance technology company SEON has partnered with Philippines-based systems integrator Exist Software Labs, giving Exist’s banking, fintech, payments and e-commerce clients access to SEON’s fraud, identity and anti-money laundering tools.
The partnership is focused on the Philippines and Southeast Asia, where financial institutions and digital businesses are dealing with growing transaction volumes alongside tighter fraud and compliance requirements.
Exist will integrate SEON into client systems
Under the partnership, Exist can offer SEON’s platform across fraud detection and risk scoring, customer and payment screening, AML transaction monitoring, identity verification, case management and reporting.
Exist’s role is to integrate those capabilities into clients’ existing systems, drawing on its software development, systems integration and digital transformation work.
Troy Nyi Nyi, SEON’s senior vice president and general manager for APAC, said many organizations still manage financial-crime risk across disconnected tools. He said combining Exist’s integration capabilities with SEON’s real-time fraud and AML technology is intended to bring more of those signals into a single operational view.
Exist Vice President for Technology Jonas Lim said the partnership expands the risk and compliance capabilities the company can bring to clients.
Fraud and compliance stacks are converging
SEON positions its platform as combining fraud prevention and AML compliance, using real-time data signals to enrich customer profiles, flag suspicious behavior and support compliance workflows.
The company says its system uses more than 900 first-party data signals and includes AI-assisted functions for detecting fraud networks, building rules, visualizing data and drafting regulatory reports. Those capabilities and signal counts are company claims.
For financial institutions, the appeal of a combined platform is reducing the number of separate systems used for onboarding, fraud decisions and regulatory monitoring. The trade-off is that consolidation can increase dependence on the quality, governance and explainability of the risk signals feeding a central platform.
Philippines is a key market for regional expansion
SEON said the partnership reflects continued investment in Asia Pacific. Exist has operated in the Philippines for more than two decades and works across custom software development, cloud, data and enterprise technology.
The companies said the partnership can serve banking and financial services, fintech, payments, e-commerce and iGaming organizations across the region.
