Revolut, the global fintech firm, announced Tuesday the appointment of its Singapore Advisory Board, comprising senior leaders with experience across banking, government and corporate leadership, to support its next phase of growth in Singapore and across the region.
The establishment of the Advisory Board marks an important milestone in Revolut’s long-term growth plans in Singapore, the firm said in a statement.
Comprising Teo Ser Luck, Charles Wong and Yvonne Aw, the board will provide strategic guidance to Revolut’s Singapore leadership team on governance, regulatory engagement, business strategy and sustainable growth.
Drawing on their deep experience across the public and private sectors, the b oard will support Revolut as it expands its product offering, invests in local talent and leverages Singapore’s position as a global financial center to drive innovation across the region.
With the establishment of the Advisory Board, Revolut is strengthening its foundations for sustainable growth, continued innovation and long-term value creation in Singapore and across Asia.
According to the statement, Teo brings decades of leadership experience spanning government, business and entrepreneurship. A former Minister of State for Manpower and Trade & Industry, he has held senior public leadership roles and continues to advise organizations on business growth, innovation and community development.
He also served as President of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) from 2022 to 2026, where he championed professional upskilling and innovation, including AI adoption. Upon completing his maximum four-year term, he was appointed an Advisor to ISCA.
His deep understanding of Singapore’s policy landscape, business ecosystem and corporate governance will strengthen Revolut’s engagement with public and private sector stakeholders and ensure the highest standards of local operations, while supporting its long-term strategic ambitions.
Wong brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across retail banking, global markets and digital banking. He previously served as Founding Chief Executive Officer of GXS Bank Singapore, leading the successful build and launch of one of Singapore’s first digital banks.
Prior to GXS, he held senior leadership roles at Citibank, including Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Singapore, alongside regional leadership responsibilities across Asia in Retail Banking and Global Markets.
He currently leads the Retail and Digital Banking practice for Asia at Simon-Kucher, advising financial institutions across the region on growth and transformation.
His extensive experience in building and scaling banking businesses, establishing resilient local operating models, driving digital transformation and developing customer-centric banking strategies will provide valuable guidance as Revolut expands its financial services offering in Singapore and across the region.
Aw brings extensive experience in corporate governance, financial services, audit and risk management. With her professional expertise and experience serving on boards and audit and risk committees across the financial services sector, she provides deep knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory oversight and enterprise risk management, as well as third-party and intra-group oversight.
She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee at Sompo Insurance China, drawing on extensive experience in board leadership, regulatory oversight and financial services.
Her experience will strengthen the Board’s oversight of governance, risk and control frameworks as Revolut continues to scale its operations in a prudent and sustainable manner.
