Spacecoin, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) powered by blockchain-enabled LEO nanosatellite constellation, plans to deploy decentralised satellite telecommunications, sovereign routing, blockchain, and Edge AI in Vietnam.

In a statement on Thursday, Spacecoin said it has signed an exclusive memorandum of understanding with DETI Technology, a Vietnamese technology company, for the move. The two parties target a minimum of $100 million in annual revenue once the project reaches commercial operation.

The MOU grants DETI exclusive rights to develop and distribute these technologies across Vietnam for three years from the date of official operational licensing. The deployment focuses on serving two of Vietnam’s largest mobile carriers, Mobifone and Gtel.

The partnership brings together four technologies operating as a single stack. Decentralised satellite telecommunications provide connectivity independent of a single operator or fixed ground infrastructure. Sovereign routing can keep data traffic and governance within the country rather than passing through foreign-owned infrastructure. Edge AI can move processing closer to where data is generated, reducing latency and bandwidth costs. Blockchain handles settlement and coordination across the network.

Tae Oh, founder of Spacecoin, said Vietnam is moving early on next-generation connectivity and that the partnership represents where the next era of connectivity takes shape.

The Vietnam partnership is part of Spacecoin’s broader expansion into emerging telecommunications markets, with the company pursuing similar collaborations in other markets.
