On the afternoon of May 27, the BEYOND Expo 2026 opening ceremony was held at the Parisian Theatre in The Parisian Macao, officially kicking off the conference. Under the theme “AI: Digital to Physical”, this year’s expo focuses on the industrial progression of artificial intelligence as it moves from digital systems into the physical world.
Discussions will center on embodied AI, robotics, spatial computing, AI Agents, open ecosystems, and global capital, showcasing the latest advancements of AI accelerating into industrial scenarios and the real world.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including:
- Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC)
- Ho Iat Seng, the Fifth Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR)
- Ho Ion Sang, Vice President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao SAR
- Chui Sai Cheong, President of the Macao Chamber of Commerce
- Dr. Lu Gang, Co-founder of BEYOND Expo
The ceremony attracted over 1,000 guests from various countries and regions, including China, South Korea, Southeast Asia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brazil, and the European Union. Attendees included corporate executives, pioneering entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, local government representatives, international partners, and media—creating a cross-regional, cross-industry, and cross-ecosystem hub for global innovation exchange.

Jason Ho, Co-founder of BEYOND Expo, delivered the opening remarks. He noted that BEYOND Expo aims to connect Asian innovation with global partners, creating more opportunities for synergy across technology, investment, sports, and entertainment within the same week.
Highlighting the direction of this year’s event, the BEYOND Expo 2026 exhibition area will feature nearly 800 exhibitors. This includes tech giants alongside smaller, innovative entities like OPCs (One-Person Companies) making their debut, allowing independent entrepreneurs and individual creators to showcase their innovations alongside leading brands.
“Asia not only excels in AI software and model innovation, but also possesses advanced manufacturing, hardware innovation, and infrastructure capabilities that provide vital support for AI’s entry into the physical world,” Ho said. “From chips and hardware to Physical AI, for digital intelligence to truly enter the real world, it requires a physical foundation capable of supporting and manufacturing it.”
Following the remarks, Deepu Talla, Vice President of Robotics and Edge AI at NVIDIA, delivered a keynote speech.

Ho then hosted a series of fireside chats with:
- Felix Zhang, Founder and CEO of Pudu Robotics
- Mark Nicholas Cutis, Senior Advisor for Strategic Projects in the Office of the Managing Director and CEO at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC)
- Chi Xu, Founder and CEO of XREAL
- Matt White, Global CTO of AI at the Linux Foundation

With the opening ceremony setting the stage, BEYOND Expo 2026 will continue to roll out exciting content from May 28 to 30. The event will feature multiple agendas across seven stages and bring together nearly 800 international exhibitors.
During the conference, a wide array of specialized segments will take place, including:
Summits & Forums: BGlobal Summit, Global Investment Summit, Physical AI Summit, Digital AI Summit, Japan Tech Forum, South Korea Tech Forum, Asia-Europe Tech Forum, Asia-Latam Tech Forum, SheTech Summit, Web2+3 Summit, and the AI Beauty & Health Summit.
Programs & Ecosystems: Business Matching Sessions, BEYOND Awards, Fund at First Pitch, and BEYOND HACK DAY.
These tracks will cover technology demonstrations, industrial exchanges, cross-regional cooperation, investment matchmaking, developer ecosystems, and innovative project showcases.
Furthermore, BEYOND Expo 2026 has partnered with Bilibili and Xiaohongshu (Red Note) for content collaboration. Through video creation, expo-vlogging, and on-site check-ins, the event will further amplify the reach of its tech content.
The conference will also feature eight signature networking events, including the BGlobal Night, Gala Dinner, Pool Party, BEYOND Capital Soirée, BEYOND Afterdark Party, BEYOND UFC Watch Party, BEYOND AI Clash Party, and Nanshan After Hours, the GBA Innovation Tour Networking Night. These gatherings will allow global investors, entrepreneurs, corporate representatives, media, and industry partners to continue networking and building connections outside the forums and exhibitions.
From the technological evolution of Physical AI and the industrial implementation of embodied intelligence, to the active participation of spatial computing, AI Agents, global capital, developer ecosystems, and cross-regional cooperation—BEYOND Expo 2026 will map out the multi-dimensional industrial path of AI as it transitions from digital systems to the physical world. Artificial intelligence is moving beyond screens, text, and cloud-based models into robotics, wearables, spatial computing, industrial systems, and real-world execution. This shift will serve as the core narrative driving the remaining agendas of this year’s conference.
