Editor’s note: TNGlobal is a media partner of Vivatech 2026

From June 17 to 20 June 2026, Porte de Versailles (Paris) will host the 10th edition of VivaTech, Europe’s largest event dedicated to startups and technology. The event has established itself as an unmissable meeting platform for the tech world, at the crossroads of innovation, business and the most important debates around technology, with AI at the heart of every conversation. This anniversary edition reaffirms VivaTech’s ambition to amplify the voice of tech among professionals, through renowned companies and speakers from the international tech world. A “takeover” of the Champs-Élysées (June 14) and the VivaTech Festival (June 20) will bring tech to as many people as possible.
A NEW DIMENSION FOR A NEW DECADE
Over ten years, VivaTech has seen 300 percent audience growth, going from 45,000 to more than 180,000 visitors in 2025, representing 171 countries. The number of startups has tripled, and investors have multiplied by 12.
In 2026, VivaTech takes over Hall 7, with three floors, 30 percent more exhibition space, doubled seating capacity, 15,000 startups, 1,500+ demos, 4,000+ business & networking meetings, and an Investors Office Hours program to connect founders with leading investors.
GERMANY, A “COUNTRY OF THE YEAR” SENDING A STRONG SIGNAL FOR EUROPEAN TECH
Germany is VivaTech’s 2026 Country of the Year, with the largest booth in VivaTech’s history (800 m²) and an unprecedented delegation: 200 startups and numerous federal and regional partners, 14 Länder, 12 government entities, and two federal ministers — Karsten Wildberger, Germany’s Federal Minister for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation; and Dorothée Bar, Germany’s Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space. At a time of growing global and technological fragmentation, this spotlight underscores Europe’s ambition—championed by VivaTech—to assert its sovereignty and lead in innovation.
A PROGRAM ADDRESSING TODAY’S CORE TECH CHALLENGES: AI, DEEPTECH, CYBERSECURITY, ENERGY
VivaTech 2026 marks a decade—but the focus is on what comes next. The program bridges two cycles: the close of the first wave of digitalization and the opening of the AI and deeptech era, alongside a more assertive European technological sovereignty. Artificial intelligence, productivity, cybersecurity, defense, sovereignty, impact, energy, and corporate transformation shape this edition, across four central themes:
AI & Productivity — 89 percent of executives trust AI to guide their company’s decisions (2026 VivaTech Trust Barometer). Among the innovations unveiled: the real-time brain-machine interface by Unitree x HABS (world exclusive); the first mass-market dual-vector exoskeleton by Sumbu; and the French conversational AI agent platform GetVocal AI.
We will also welcome numerous speakers from India, this year’s AI Country Partner. This status is a direct continuation of the AI Impact Summit in Delhi and the Franco-Indian Year of Innovation.
Cybersecurity & Defense — In a context of surging cyberattacks (+75% in one year, Accenture 2024), French startup Riot is one of many developing employee cybersecurity awareness programs, while Belgian startup Aikido makes AI-assisted tools to detect and fix vulnerabilities in developers’ code.
Greentech & Energy — Nyobolt, which develops advanced ultra-fast energy solutions capable of charging a battery to 80% in under five minutes; Bienesis, offering an intelligent crop coverage solution that secures yields against climate hazards; and Tenaka (world exclusive), developing solutions to regenerate our oceans — they will all demonstrate how technology is concretely accelerating the climate and energy transition.
Deeptech —Numerous innovations in the Deeptech sector will open up the perspectives of the next decade in technology. Among them, IBM will present in a world exclusive an impressive “quantum chandelier” enabling calculations far more powerful than those of classical computers, with applications in healthcare, telecommunications and industrial optimization; EOS X SPACE (world exclusive) opens the door to space tourism by allowing individuals to approach space and live a unique experience while paving the way for new aerospace technologies and innovations; and Xpanceo (world exclusive) is developing an AI- and extended reality-powered smart contact lens capable of displaying information directly in the field of vision.
TECH WITHIN EVERYONE’S REACH
On June 20, the VivaTech Festival opens tech to 18-35-year-olds on the themes of AI & Society, the Creator’s Economy and Talents of Tomorrow — with a Careers Festival, coaching formats and exclusive demonstrations.
For the first time in its history, and in celebration of its 10th anniversary, VivaTech will take over the Champs-Élysées on Sunday, 14 June. For one day, “the world’s most famous avenue,” pedestrianized for the occasion, will be transformed into an exceptional showcase of innovation where startups, businesses and tomorrow’s talents can engage with Parisians, Île-de-France residents, and tourists from around the world while introducing them, through a free and open immersive journey, to the tech transforming our daily lives: AI, robots, mobility, climate, health, and more.
“In ten years, VivaTech has become much more than an event. It is the catalyst of a VivaTech Generation — a global community of entrepreneurs, innovators and investors shaping the tech of tomorrow. This 10th edition marks a change of dimension for VivaTech, reflecting a new era for tech: that of AI, deeptech and a geopolitical reconfiguration in which Europe must fully assume its role.” – Maurice Lévy, Co-Chairman of VivaTech and Honorary Chairman of Publicis Groupe; Michèle Benbunan, Co-Chairman of VivaTech and CEO of the LVMH Press Division; François Bitouzet, CEO of VivaTech
