J&T Global Express (J&T Express), a global logistics service provider affiliated with e-commerce platforms such as TikTok, Temu, SHEIN, reported first-quarter 2026 parcel volume of 8.33 billion, a 26.2 percent increase year-on-year, with average daily volume reaching 92.5 million.

In a release on Monday, Indonesia-headquartered J&T Express said Shipments outside China accounted for 35.1 percent of total volume, up 4.3 percentage points from the previous quarter, reflecting continued expansion across international markets.

The company recorded particularly strong performance in Southeast Asia and other international markets. In Southeast Asia, parcel volume surged 80 percent year-on-year to 2.77 billion, with an average daily volume of 30.8 million and peak daily volume exceeding 47 million. The increase was driven by higher market demand, seasonal factors such as Ramadan-related shopping activity, and closer collaboration with major e-commerce platforms.

Capacity expansion in the region continued, with line-haul vehicles increasing to 6,200 and automated sorting lines rising to 73, up from 64 previously.

In China, parcel volume reached 5.404 billion, up 8.4 percent year-on-year, with average daily volume at 60 million. Growth aligned with broader industry trends and showed improvement from the previous quarter, as the company adjusted its strategy and optimized network operations.

Other international markets also saw rapid growth. Parcel volume doubled to 154 million, increasing 100.5 percent year-on-year, with average daily volume reaching 1.7 million. Expansion efforts included the addition of 400 outlets and five sorting centers during the quarter.
