Amity, an AI and software company based in Thailand, has announced a $100 million Series D funding round, among the largest GenAI-focused investments in Southeast Asia to date.
In a release on Wednesday, Amity said the round was led by EDBI, alongside Asia Partners and SMDV, with participation from additional investors including CMLIM Capital. Following the round, Amity’s total funding has reached $160 million.
The funding can accelerate the company’s vertical AI models and agentic AI development, according to Amity. It can also support Amity’s growth across Southeast Asia and Europe, and strengthen its AI Research & Application Center (ARAC). The company plans to expand ARAC in Singapore, build regional go-to-market capabilities, and pursue strategic acquisitions in 2026. Amity is also targeting an initial public offering in 2027.
Amity’s strategy centers on its 3B approach of “Build, Buy, Bridge.” The approach includes advancing AI development through ARAC, expanding via mergers and acquisitions, and integrating capabilities across its portfolio to commercialize enterprise AI solutions.
Korawad Chearavanont, Executive Chairman and Founder of Amity, said the company surpassed $100 million in annualized revenue in 2025, growing more than ten-fold since 2022. The company is focused on developing vertical AI models tailored to specific industries, as well as agentic AI systems designed to execute business processes.
Touchapon Kraisingkorn, Chairman of ARAC and co-founder of Amity, said part of the funding will be used to develop industry-specific AI, particularly in retail and telecommunications, and to advance agentic AI across the company’s ecosystem, which includes Amity Accentix, Tollring, Amity Solutions, EGG Digital, and Amity-Nordstar.
Yeung Chia Li, a senior partner of EDBI, said Amity’s expansion in Singapore would enhance its ability to serve global enterprise demand and support broader AI adoption.
Vorapol Supanusonti, a co-founder at Singapore-based private equity firm Asia Partners, highlighted the company’s strategy of combining research and acquisitions to build AI-driven platforms.
