Clio, the global legal artificial intelligence (AI) technology firm, announced the appointment of Julian Uebergang as the General Manager, Enterprise for Asia Pacific (APAC).

In this role, Uebergang will lead the expansion of the company’s enterprise division across the Asia-Pacific region, specifically focusing on the needs of large-scale legal organizations and complex law firms, the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.

Uebergang will champion a unified AI platform that breaks down silos between legal research and firm operations.

Leading a multidisciplinary team across customer success and partner enablement, he will focus on integrating sophisticated workflows with AI-powered analysis.

This approach will allow APAC’s largest firms to compound their internal knowledge, reducing administrative burdens so practitioners can focus on high-value advocacy and client outcomes.

“My focus is on shaping a strategic direction that truly resonates with the complexities of the APAC enterprise market,

“By working in lockstep with our product teams, we are delivering scalable solutions that bridge the gap between the business of law and the practice of law, ensuring large firms have the tools necessary to modernize and transform their operations and drive efficiency at every level,” said Julian Uebergang, General Manager, Enterprise – APAC.

With a legacy of leadership, Uebergang brings more than 25 years of experience in the SaaS and PaaS sectors, with a proven track record of scaling products and teams internationally.

Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Neota Logic Inc., where he led a significant transition to cloud-based offerings and guided the organization through a period of transformation.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Uebergang has founded and successfully exited two companies and previously served as Group Manager at Australia Post, where he launched the organization’s first digital product.

His deep industry influence is further reflected in his former roles leading international client services at Epiq Systems and serving as the Past President of the Australian Legal Technology Association (ALTA).
