Xanh SM Laos has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Business Association in Laos (AVILA) to meet the growing demand for safe, transparent, and environmentally friendly transportation services among the business community in Laos.
Xanh SM said in a statement on Thursday the partnership marks an important milestone in expanding green mobility solutions across Vientiane and surrounding areas, in line with the sustainable development direction promoted by the Lao government.
Under the agreement, Xanh SM Laos will provide a suite of corporate-focused electric mobility services, including Xanh SM Taxi, Xanh SM Airport services, and tailored mobility packages for events or specific operational needs.
These services are supported by a corporate transportation management system that enables journey tracking, periodic reporting, and optimization of mobility costs.
The goal is to help businesses enhance operational efficiency while improving travel convenience for staff, experts, and customers.
As Laos accelerates its transition toward greener and more modern urban development, the use of electric vehicles within the business sector is rising quickly.
The trend reflects rising interest in transportation services that prioritize safety, transparency, and reduced dependence on traditional fuel sources.
As one of the most influential business communities in Laos, AVILA becomes the first partner to work with Xanh SM in bringing electric mobility solutions into practical application.
Beyond transportation services, Xanh SM and AVILA will jointly organize electric vehicle experience activities, expert workshops, and knowledge-sharing programs to help businesses better understand the benefits of green mobility transition.
These initiatives are designed to support the business community as it adapts to Laos’ long-term sustainability goals.
“Safe and transparent mobility is an increasingly essential need for the business community. Our collaboration with Xanh SM offers companies operating in Laos a transportation solution that aligns with the country’s green development direction,
“We believe electric vehicle services will bring practical value to businesses in the years ahead,” said Nguyen Xuan Ha, Chairman of AVILA Vientiane.
Representing Xanh SM, Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Linh – Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Operations for Vietnam and Laos, shared that Laos is entering a pivotal phase of modernization and sustainable development.
“We value the opportunity to accompany the local business community, and we aim to contribute through electric-mobility solutions tailored to the country’s infrastructure and strategic priorities,
“Our goal is to provide convenience, transparency, and consistent service quality to businesses,” she added.
According to the statement, as Laos strengthens its commitment to green transition and urban improvement, the proactive engagement of the business sector plays a crucial role.
Xanh SM’s strategic collaboration with AVILA, its first partnership with a business community, represents an important step in expanding the clean mobility ecosystem in Laos.
It also reflects shared confidence in a more modern, sustainable, and forward-looking urban future.
