Pride Health, a Thailand-based company and Asia’s first LGBTQ+ digital healthcare platform, has raised $300,000 in a pre-seed round with A2D Ventures, Enterprise Singapore, First Move, and depa’s Digital Startup Fund (S2).

The funding will accelerate Pride Health’s regional expansion and technology development, bringing inclusive, stigma-free healthcare to LGBTQ+ communities across Asia, Pride Health said in a statement on Wednesday.

The new funding will be used to scale user acquisition, launch new clinical verticals — including gender-affirming care, preventive medicine, wellness, and longevity — and strengthen artificial intelligence (AI) and automation infrastructure to support rapid expansion across Southeast Asia.

It is noted that despite Thailand’s global reputation for LGBTQ+ acceptance —where an estimated eight to ten percent of the population identifies as LGBTQ+ — healthcare inequity remains widespread.

Across Asia, more than 70 percent of LGBTQ+ individuals report barriers to safe, affirming care due to stigma or a lack of trained professionals.

Pride Health addresses these gaps through a digital platform integrating telehealth consultations with licensed LGBTQ+ clinicians.

It leverages AI-driven personalization across preventive, mental, sexual, and gender-affirming health.

Users can also access prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and diagnostics via its e-commerce platform.

Subscription plans include biomarker tracking and personalized healthcare for ongoing wellness support.

Since its launch in March 2025, Pride Health claims to have served over 1,800 users, providing tailored and inclusive care with a 54 percent repeat rate — a strong indicator of trust within the community.

Building on this foundation and regional partnerships, the company is expanding into Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

“Everyone deserves the right to their unique healthcare needs. Across Asia, too many LGBTQ+ people are still denied that right — stigmatized, misunderstood, or forced to hide who they are to access appropriate care,

“We’re building Pride Health so that everyone can access inclusive healthcare that is judgement-free and innovative,” said Bruce Li, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pride Health.

It is noted that globally, similar digital models are gaining momentum, with startups in Europe developing the continent’s first LGBTQ+ digital clinics—underscoring a worldwide shift towards inclusion and personalized care.

“Healthcare access should never depend on identity. We are excited to back Pride Health in this journey, as they scale and enable inclusive care—digitally, privately, and with compassion,” said Ankit Upadhyay, Co-founder and General Partner at A2D Ventures.
