LGMS Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary Applied Security Intelligence Sdn Bhd (ASI), has entered into a strategic partnership with Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd, a CelcomDigi company, to deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations across Malaysia.

LGMS said in a statement on last Friday that the partnership will strengthen the delivery of StarSentry, a cybersecurity solution designed to help organizations stay informed and protected against emerging threats.

Led by Bridgenet, the initiative provides businesses with an early warning layer that continuously detects suspicious activity through honeypot decoys and timely alerts, enabling faster response and stronger operational resilience.

StarSentry also includes built-in cyber insurance to cushion potential financial impact, unlimited scans with actionable health-check reports, and plug-and-play deployment for ease of use.

To further enhance protection, the solution comes bundled with ten complimentary CrowdStrike next-generation antivirus licenses.

“Through this partnership, SMEs and large enterprises engaging Bridgenet for business connectivity can access a streamlined suite of protections spanning identity and access, data, web, endpoint, mobile and email,” said Fong Choong Fook, executive chairman of LGMS.

He added these safeguards are reinforced by managed monitoring and technical expertise, in line with recognized standards and frameworks including Malaysia’s Cyber Security Act 2024, ISO, and NIST.

Meanwhile, beyond this partnership, ASI has become Malaysia’s first managed security services provider licensed as a General Insurance Agent under the Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia.

This milestone integrates cyber insurance with always-on technology surveillance, enhancing underwriting readiness and enterprise confidence.

StarSentry is the first solution within this integrated model, with further offerings to be introduced over time.

Bridgenet Group Chief Executive Officer Keane Leong described the collaboration as a timely step in addressing the rising cyber risks faced by businesses of all sizes.

“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to strengthen cyber resilience in Malaysia’s digital economy,

“By combining Bridgenet’s extensive enterprise reach with ASI’s innovative, insurance-led security approach — and the strength of the LGMS Group behind it — we are enabling businesses to safeguard operations with confidence,” he said.

Bridgenet, a technology solutions group specializing in enterprise ICT systems and managed services, brings extensive experience in delivering secure, scalable solutions to Malaysian businesses.

Together with LGMS, the partnership combines deep technical capabilities with proven market credibility, said the statement.
