Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast announced Thursday a partnership with Autohaus Jakob GmbH to establish dealership which will provide crucial sales, aftersales, warranty and spare parts services for its car manufacturers in Germany.
VinFast said in a statement that the agreement aims to support manufacturers who are experiencing an upturn in German sales of its urban-optimized, high-tech VinFast VF 6.
The partnership is the latest demonstration of VinFast’s ongoing commitment to the vital markets of Germany, France and the Netherlands.
According to the statement, Autohaus Jakob will provide all traditional dealer services from a showroom in Fulda, which expected to open in September 2025.
The partnership builds on VinFast’s existing German agreements with Autohaus Hübsch and Schachtschneider Automobile GmbH & Co KG, establishing VinFast’s sixth official authorized showroom as part of a growing, highly efficient customer-focused distribution network.

According to the statement, work with established dealerships such as Autohaus Jakob, which shares VinFast’s customer, is VinFast’s strategy to accelerate the roll-out of its global dealership model.
It also demonstrates VinFast’s highly agile approach to satisfying the needs of new car buyers in a dynamic EV marketplace.

From its Fulda VinFast showroom, customers will be able to explore, test drive, and purchase VinFast’s growing range of eSUVs, which currently consists of the urban-optimized B-segment VF 6, and the larger, family- and business-focused D-segment VF 8.
