Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) has announced the appointment of Andry Setiawan and Christopher Ganis as Chief Investment Officers.
The two will jointly oversee INA’s investment functions across its strategic priority sectors, reflecting the institution’s evolving structure and growing portfolio, the firm said in a statement on last Friday.
Andry Setiawan served as Managing Director of Investment and a member of INA’s Investment Committee, where he oversaw the Green Energy and Transformation sector.
He led key initiatives, including INA’s inaugural investment in renewable energy and the establishment of strategic partnerships in energy transition and nature-based solutions.
Prior to joining INA, Andry held leadership roles in the petrochemical, electrical power generation, and asset management sectors, and played an active role in transforming state-owned enterprises into national asset management entities.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Berkeley.
Meanwhile, Christopher Ganis brings extensive experience in private credit and equity investment across Southeast Asia.
Before joining INA, he held senior roles in global asset management, regional private equity, and credit investment firms, where he focused on origination and execution of investment strategies across multiple sectors.
He began his career in investment banking and corporate finance, with a focus on credit markets and merger and acquisition (M&A).
Christopher holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude,
from The Ohio State University.
