10 Cents Capital, a Malaysian investment holding company, has completed $20 million in financing and will deploy the funds in phases, starting in Brazil.

In a statement last Friday, 10 Cents Capital said the money will support three new business lines alongside its existing investment activities.

The three lines are AI business applications, global multilingual marketing, and cross-border business-to-business trade. Part of the capital will go to building the technology and service base, including AI tools for customer research, marketing content, and localization, along with the service model for each line.

Another part will support cross-border business-to-business operations, including research, information management, and handling inquiries.

The remainder is reserved for market development, beginning with Brazil. Local operations in Brazil will be run by the company’s Brazilian operating brand, VIVAMOMENTO.

Gaining experience by backing companies in digital technology, e-commerce, consumer services, and enterprise services, 10 Cents Capital will now extend into businesses it builds and runs itself. It said funding technology, service, and market development together gives each business a complete foundation from the outset.

Peter Liew, a director of 10 Cents Capital, said the company would deploy the capital with discipline, one stage at a time, so that each new business has a base strong enough to support the next. The company said further markets will follow as the new businesses develop, and that it will report progress on its website.
