Singapore digital wealth platform Syfe has launched Income+ Max, a multi-asset investment portfolio targeting annualized cash distributions of 8 to 10 percent through bond coupons, equity dividends and option premiums.
Announced on October 12, the strategy uses exchange-traded funds from J.P. Morgan Asset Management and other managers. It is being rolled out to users on the Syfe platform as an addition to its existing Income+ Preserve and Income+ Enhance portfolios.
Equities, bonds and gold
Syfe said the launch allocation is 55 percent equities, 35 percent fixed income and 10 percent gold. The portfolio sells call options on parts of its equity and gold holdings to collect premiums, supplementing the income received from dividends and bond investments.
The company argues that different sources of distributions can help investors manage concentration in equity markets. The bond sleeve uses a short-to-medium duration profile intended to limit sensitivity to interest rate changes.
Ritesh Ganeriwal, Syfe’s group head of investment and advisory, said the product aims to turn volatility into a source of income rather than relying solely on conventional dividends and coupon payments. J.P. Morgan Asset Management said its active ETF capabilities would form part of the portfolio. The company’s product guidance classifies Income+ Max as higher risk than its bond-focused Income+ products.
