George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad has announced its partnership with Shandong Extreme Vision Technology Co., Ltd. (Extreme Vision), an artificial intelligence (AI) technology company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, to distribute agentic AI solutions in Malaysia, ASEAN.

George Kent said in a statement on Friday that its wholly owned subsidiary, GK SuperTech Sdn Bhd (GK SuperTech), has entered into a strategic collaboration with Extreme Vision, marking a step in strengthening the group’s technology footprint across Southeast Asia.

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a binding term sheet, which sets out the terms for the commercial deployment of Extreme Vision’s proprietary AI technologies and regional market expansion.

Under this collaboration, GK SuperTech is set to secure exclusive rights to rebrand, market, distribute and sell Extreme Vision’s AI algorithms and large models in Malaysia and Singapore.

The parties will also collaborate to deploy enterprise-level AI solutions and pursue market opportunities across the wider ASEAN region.

A key initiative will be the implementation of Vision AI at George Kent’s manufacturing plant in Puchong.

This facility will serve as a pilot site to showcase the value of cutting-edge AI technologies in a world-class manufacturing environment, with the aim of establishing a benchmark for smart manufacturing.

Extreme Vision specializes in AI-powered computer vision algorithms and large models that enable machines to interpret and analyze visual data in real time.

Its technologies are deployed across a wide range of applications including smart city systems, smart manufacturing, industrial automation, infrastructure monitoring, and public safety.
