Zeekr Malaysia, the local arm of China’s Zeekr, and SkyPark FBO Malaysia will use the Zeekr 009 luxury electric van for airside passenger transfers at a business-aviation center in Subang, near Kuala Lumpur.
In a statement on Wednesday, Zeekr said the two sides have signed a memorandum of understanding for the move. Under the deal, the Zeekr 009 will carry passengers between the SkyPark Business Aviation Centre and their aircraft.
SkyPark FBO serves private-jet owners, charter passengers and other VIP travelers at Subang’s Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.
Eddy Lu, general manager of Zeekr Malaysia, said the 009 would suit business travelers and extend the brand’s presence into lifestyle, hospitality and business settings. Hariss Abdullah, a senior general manager at SkyPark FBO Malaysia, said the arrangement would extend the passenger experience from the lounge to the aircraft.
Zeekr, a premium electric-vehicle brand owned by Chinese automaker Geely, entered Malaysia in December 2024 and has become one of the country’s top-selling premium EV marques. The 009, a seven-seat MPV, retails in Malaysia from about MYR310,000 ($73,000).
