NUS-ISS has launched the 11th edition of its Learning Festival, a six-week program running from August 28 to October 10, 2026, with this year’s edition focused on what organizations need to move artificial intelligence from experimentation into enterprise use.

The Singapore-based institute said the theme, “The Next AI Transformation,” covers AI-ready data foundations, responsible deployment, leadership transformation, workforce change, and future skills development.
The opening-day program on August 28 includes 28 sessions spanning talks, panels, fireside chats, workshops, and demonstrations. Topics include governing autonomous AI agents, building trustworthy enterprise AI, preparing data for AI adoption, cybersecurity, organizational transformation, and enterprise architecture.
Speakers and panelists listed by NUS-ISS include representatives from Alibaba Cloud, Nvidia Singapore, Salesforce, Visa, Grab, ST Engineering Urban Solutions, BSI Group Singapore, and Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority, alongside NUS-ISS lecturers and other practitioners.
A new component this year is the “Show Me Your Agents” hackathon, hosted by NUS-ISS and powered by Amazon Web Services. The competition runs from September 5 to October 10 and is intended to connect students, professionals, startups, and small and medium-sized enterprises around agentic AI solutions for business and public-sector problems.
Teams will have five weeks to develop agent-powered solutions for areas such as administrative automation, customer service, and supply-chain operations before presenting them at a Demo Day on October 10. NUS-ISS said awards will recognize real-world readiness, agent design, and social impact, with AWS cloud credits among the prizes.
Khoong Chan Meng, Chief Executive Officer of NUS-ISS, said the challenge is increasingly about scaling AI effectively and responsibly rather than simply understanding what the technology can do.
The festival also includes a September 15 session with the IT Management Association on how AI is changing organizations and the role of the CIO.
