CrowdStrike and PT Telkom Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding AI-powered cybersecurity services for organizations in Indonesia.
The companies said the collaboration will combine the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform and CrowdStrike security services with Telkom Indonesia’s local market presence, customer base, and technology infrastructure. The initial focus is on cybersecurity modernization, managed security services, and protection for AI systems.
Telkom also plans to standardize its own cyber defenses on the Falcon platform, according to the announcement. The companies said they intend to form a joint team to develop offerings for Indonesian public- and private-sector organizations.
The agreement also covers security for AI agents, models, and systems as more enterprises deploy artificial intelligence in operational environments. CrowdStrike has been positioning Falcon as a platform for endpoint, identity, cloud, and AI-related security functions, while Telkom operates telecommunications, cloud, data-center, and digital-service infrastructure across Indonesia.
Jonathon Dixon, Vice President and Managing Director for Japan and Asia Pacific at CrowdStrike, and Seno Soemadji, Director of Strategic Business Development and Portfolio at Telkom Indonesia, represented the companies at the signing ceremony, according to material supplied with the release.
The announcement is an MoU rather than a completed commercial rollout, so the scope, customer deployments, and financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
The partnership comes as Indonesian enterprises and government organizations increase investment in cloud, AI, and digital infrastructure, creating additional demand for security controls that can operate across endpoints, identities, applications, and emerging AI workloads.
