Green GSM has launched a seven-seat premium electric taxi service in the Philippines, expanding its local offering beyond its existing Green GSM Car tier.

The company said Tuesday that Premium Taxi uses an all-electric fleet of black VinFast Limo Green vehicles. The service is aimed at groups of up to six passengers, families, business travelers and customers carrying multiple pieces of luggage.

Each vehicle has three rows of seats, automatic air conditioning, dedicated air vents for the two rear rows and an air-filtration system. Green GSM said drivers assigned to the premium tier are selected based on service ratings, while fares are shown through the vehicle meter and the Green GSM app.

During the initial rollout, the service will operate in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong and Pasig City. Customers can book through the Green GSM app, hail an available vehicle or call the company’s customer service hotline.

Le Thi Thu Trang, chief executive officer of Green GSM Philippines, said the new tier is intended for trips where customers value additional space and service, including airport transfers, family travel and business engagements.

Green GSM said it had completed nearly five million trips covering more than 32.6 million kilometers in electric vehicles in the Philippines as of March 31, 2026. The company estimated that those trips avoided about 6,263 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The launch adds another use case for VinFast vehicles in Southeast Asia as Green GSM continues to expand its electric mobility services in the region.
