Zeekr, the electric-vehicle brand owned by China’s Geely Holding Group, said its Malaysian unit had partnered with the charge point operator JomCharge to give Zeekr owners a complimentary JomCharge Platinum membership, until December 31, 2026.

The membership provides 25 percent off charging at more than 1,000 JomCharge-owned charging points nationwide. Zeekr Malaysia, which said it has more than 5,000 owners in the country, offers the benefit through its Zeekr Power charging program.

To activate the membership, owners can complete a registration form using the email address linked to their JomCharge account, after which JomCharge verifies their Zeekr ownership and enables the Platinum benefits. The membership is valid until end-2026.

The arrangement follows a similar charging benefit Zeekr Malaysia introduced with the operator DC Handal. Eddy Lu, general manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, said the company would continue adding owner benefits through partnerships as its customer base grew.

Zeekr, owned by China’s Geely Holding Group, develops electric vehicles along with its own battery, motor and other powertrain technology. It also runs research and design centers in Gothenburg, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. Zeekr delivered more than 850,000 vehicles since it began sales in October 2021 and entered the Malaysian market in December 2024.
