Cradle Fund, the Malaysian government’s focal point agency for startup ecosystem development under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), has opened registration for the Cradle LIVE! Summit 2026.
In a statement on Monday, Cradle Fund said the summit will take place on November 4-5 at The Arch Galeries in Kuala Lumpur. The previous edition featured more than 2,300 participants.
The two-day summit carries the theme “Build in Malaysia, For ASEAN & Beyond” and will feature more than 20 conference sessions across two tracks: The Springboard to ASEAN, covering regional growth opportunities, investment trends, and market expansion strategies; and The BIG Innovation Impact, covering corporate innovation, funding opportunities, and public-private sector collaboration. Sessions include topics such as Malaysia’s innovation agenda, corporate innovation showcases, and building B2B businesses across ASEAN.
The agenda currently features sessions of Malaysia’s Innovation Agenda: Empowering Ecosystem to Drive National and Regional Impact; 9 Unicorns In, One Lesson Nobody Talks About; Corporate Innovation Showcase: What Malaysia’s Corporates Are Building; and Crossing Borders: Building a B2B Business Across ASEAN.
Norsham binti Abdul Latip, Deputy Secretary General for Technology Development at MOSTI, said a strong startup ecosystem is a key driver of Malaysia’s innovation-led economy. The summit reflects MOSTI’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between government, industry, investors, and research institutions to help Malaysian startups expand into ASEAN and global markets, the official added.
Norman Matthieu Vanhaecke, Group CEO of Cradle, said the summit aims to connect Malaysian startups with investors, strategic partners, and ecosystem players to expand market access and unlock collaboration opportunities.
