VinFast, the electric vehicle maker under Vietnam’s conglomerate Vingroup, has added 29 aftersales partners during its Global Business Conference held from May 4 to May 10, 2026.

In a statement last Friday, VinFast said it has signed memoranda of understanding with the partners. Its Global Business Conference brought together more than 200 investors and partners from North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan as part of the company’s global expansion strategy.

Under the agreements, the partners will establish electric vehicle service workshops that meet VinFast’s global standards in their respective markets. VinFast will support the network through standardized technician training and certification programs, operating procedures, quality control systems, and a parts supply network targeting delivery of common spare parts within 24 hours in key markets.

The agreements are part of VinFast’s broader strategy to expand its electric vehicle ecosystem, including aftersales services, charging infrastructure, and customer support operations.

VinFast’s international expansion strategy is based on the operational and aftersales network it has developed in Vietnam. By the end of 2025, the company had established nearly 400 service workshops in Vietnam, bringing its total global network to nearly 800 facilities.

The company aims to expand its global network to more than 1,100 service workshops in 2026 across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The expansion will include dealership-operated facilities, workshops serving fleet and transportation business customers, and partnerships with third-party local service providers.

VinFast said it is also implementing customer support policies including repair time commitments in Vietnam, replacement vehicle support in international markets, battery inspections, software updates, and technical support services.

VinFast reached a global delivery of 58,577 electric vehicles (EVs) in the first quarter of 2026, up 61 percent year-on-year.
