Regional software consulting firm Nimble has announced its first strategic investment in Relationship Republic, a Thailand-based loyalty and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions provider.

In a release on Tuesday, Nimble said as part of the deal, its will join Relationship Republic’s board of directors, growing from a product and technology partner to strategic investor. Nimble did not reveal financial details of the investment.

The investment comes as companies in Thailand increase spending on digital transformation and data-driven customer engagement. Demand has grown for service providers capable of combining loyalty program expertise with technology implementation.

The two firms have worked together over the past year, serving enterprise clients across the region. Nimble’s client base includes major corporations such as Central Group, C.P. Group, PTT, SCG, and Jollibee. Relationship Republic has been working with popular brands, including Singha Corporation, Toyota, Siam Commercial Bank, Microsoft, S&P Syndicate, and Thai Chamber of Commerce.

Nimble stated by combining Relationship Republic’s expertise in loyalty and CRM strategy with Nimble’s technology and product development capabilities, the two can deliver integrated solutions for enterprise clients.
