Catalytic Capital for Climate and Health (C3H), a catalytic investment vehicle of Temasek Trust, has led a US$1.2 million funding round in Singapore-based AI healthtech startup injewelme, C3H said in a press release on Wednesday.

The round also saw participation from the UK-based Richardson family, a multi-generational, independent, investment and trading business. In addition, Co-Axis played a role in connecting the startup with its investors. injewelme stated that the funding will support its goal of expanding access to continuous, data-driven health monitoring and advancing the use of AI in preventive healthcare.

The funding will be used to further develop injewelme’s DeepHealthVision (DHV) technology, including expanding its capabilities to measure additional health indicators such as blood glucose, stress levels, fatigue, and hydration. The newly raised funds will also support injewelme’s expansion efforts in Singapore and other Southeast Asian markets. The company aims to broaden applications across industries while enhancing its ability to monitor the effects of climate-related stress.

injewelme’s DHV platform uses remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), enabling contactless monitoring of more than 20 vital health parameters—including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation—within approximately 30 seconds using a standard camera. The system is powered by proprietary software and predictive artificial intelligence models, and has demonstrated a reported detection accuracy of 95% in real-world pilot programs.

The company has already conducted live pilot programs, with some partners exploring broader adoption. One such partner is SJ Integrated Solutions, which has used the technology as a contactless screening tool in fitness and wellness programs for seniors.
