Open Campus, a Singapore-based decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) focused on blockchain applications in education, will collaborate with Vietnam’s Le & Associates (L&A) and SKALE to pilot a credential-powered job matching initiative in Vietnam.

The three sides have recently signed a memorandum of understanding for move. They aim to integrate verified digital credentials into recruitment processes, allowing candidates to share validated academic and skills records directly with employers. Companies participating in the pilot will be able to screen applicants based on authenticated achievements rather than relying solely on traditional resumes. The initial phase will focus on high school and university students preparing to enter the workforce. The program will assess whether portable and verifiable credentials can improve alignment between jobseekers’ documented skills and employers’ hiring requirements.

Pham Thi My Le, founder and chairwoman of Le & Associates, said Vietnam’s rapidly evolving labor market often presents challenges for both candidates and recruiters in clearly identifying and matching competencies.

“Verified credentials could help address this by offering employers more reliable information while enabling applicants to present their qualifications with greater clarity,” she said.

Truong Binh Nguyen, chief executive officer of SKALE, said the company will contribute its digital recruitment platform to the pilot. The system incorporates AI-driven matching and screening tools intended to shorten hiring timelines and improve candidate selection.

Jonah Lau, project lead at Open Campus, said Vietnam represents a market where education and employment pathways are undergoing significant change. He said the collaboration will test how verifiable credentials function within real-world hiring workflows.

Founded in 2001, Le & Associates is a Vietnamese human resources services provider offering staffing, outsourcing and payroll solutions. SKALE operates an AI-based recruitment platform serving businesses in Vietnam and the region. Open Campus is backed by a global network of education and blockchain contributors and focuses on building decentralized infrastructure for education finance and credentialing.
