Thai Paiboon Insurance Public Company Limited (TPB), a Thailand-based non-life insurance company, has on last Thursday entered into a strategic partnership with Mpire Mobility Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Greentronics Technology Berhad, to offer innovation digital solutions and services for Malaysian motorists travelling into Thailand.
The duo said in a statement on last Friday taht From Thailand’s first and oldest general insurer, the primary objective of this partnership is to enable digital platform to enhance confidence and provide maximum convenience for Malaysian customers in the event of their vehicles involved in accidents within Thailand.
This digital innovation will alleviate concerns related to language barriers, communication challenges, and the complexities of the insurance claims processes.
Founded in 2017, Mpire Mobility Sdn Bhd was conceived as an Internet of Things (IoT) company with a vision to simplify vehicle ownership, enhance road safety, and streamline
cross-border mobility through data-driven and connected platforms.
Mpire Mobility operates an integrated digital ecosystem that connects motorists, workshops and fleet operators through a single, unified platform.
Its solutions are designed to support both individual vehicle owners and enterprise fleet operators, enabling efficient vehicle servicing, claims coordination, and aftersales management.
Mpire Mobility currently offers a suite of products and services, including:Jom MyServis (Malaysia’s digital mobile application connecting vehicle owners directly to authorized workshops for servicing, repairs, roadside assistance, and vehicle support services); MyServis Go (a workshop e-portal and backend system enabling vehicle data management, servicing records, and claims coordination across more than 200 authorized workshops nationwide); MyGo (a telematics and IoT solution providing vehicle monitoring, driving behavior insights, service reminders, and operational analytics for passenger and commercial vehicles).
The firm has over 10,000 end-users, 32 fleet management clients, and 1,000 vehicles equipped with telematics.
According to the statement, the partnership between Mpire Mobility and TPB, established in September 2025, aims to address key challenges faced by Malaysian motorists driving into Thailand.
Key objectives of the collaboration include providing peace of mind for Malaysian vehicles travelling within Thailand; insurance coverage by TPB against damages arising from accidents occurring in Thailand; roadside assistance and logistical support via the Jom MyServis mobile application, including arrangements to return vehicles to Malaysia for repairs and claims; ensuring all repairs and insurance claims are conducted exclusively at authorized Jom MyServis workshops in Malaysia.
