VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, and LKQ Netherlands, an European vehicle parts and services firm, have announced a strategic collaboration to provide a comprehensive and high-quality aftersales and maintenance network across the Netherlands.
As VinFast strengthens its European presence, this partnership underscores the brand’s long-term commitment to Dutch customers, with LKQ’s independent and EV-ready service network playing a key role in ensuring seamless ownership experience, VinFast said in a statement on Thursday.
VinFast has chosen LKQ’s established and EV-ready network after a rigorous assessment process, highlighting LKQ’s growing role as a trusted service provider in the EV sector.
VinFast customers will initially be supported by nine certified Lease Service Partners (LSPs) starting in May 2025, with access gradually expanding to LKQ’s full network of 260 EV-ready workshops across the Netherlands。
These service centers will provide warranty repairs, high-voltage maintenance, tire services, and general servicing.
Each facility is fully equipped to service the VinFast VF 6 and VF 8, along with any future models introduced in the Dutch market.
Parts are delivered frequently, up to five times a day, to help minimize vehicle downtime.
LKQ also provides continuous technician training via its Automotive Academy, as well as innovative offerings such as technical support, training courses, and garage management software, to strengthen service quality and support network efficiency.
“At LKQ, we strive to be a long-term and reliable partner. VinFast’s decision to collaborate with us reflects their trust in our expertise,
“We offer a complete service package, including our innovative training platform, the Automotive Academy, our logistical strength as a parts supplier, and our in-depth knowledge of the Dutch automotive market,” said Ewoud Lubbers, Country Director of LKQ Netherlands.
Meanwhile, Le Thi Thu Trang, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Europe, added that this cooperation demonstrates the firm’s long-term commitment to the Dutch market.
“It provides our customers with a convenient aftersales experience that combines in-house competencies with the best independent specialists—a robust, trusted support network that offers the best of both worlds,” she added.
According to the statement, this collaboration between VinFast and LKQ lays the foundation for a future-oriented service model that combines the flexibility of a local network with strategic expertise.
It ensures a seamless EV ownership experience for consumers and supports the broader green transition, accelerating the adoption of zero-emission vehicles in the Netherlands.
