Indonesian capsule hotel and cabin operator Bobobox said Monday that it has launched five new properties in Indonesia.
The firm said in a statement that it has launched new sites in Bobocabin Dieng, Bobopod Thamrin, Bobocabin Sukawana, Bobocabin Patra Parapat, and Bobocabin Ijen, expanded its total portfolio to 37 locations across Indonesia.
With an expanded portfolio of 37 locations across Indonesia, the company said it continues to solidify its position as a leader in the domestic accommodation market through innovation and strategic execution.
The company also aims to expand to 12 new locations across Indonesia by 2025, as part of its commitment to broadening its product reach to more tourist destinations.
With growing interest in domestic travel, Bobobox said it is focusing on meeting accommodation needs in key strategic locations, including Surabaya, Medan, Bali, and Bromo.
Meanwhile, Bobobox ended 2024 with a profitable year, demonstrating the strength of its business model and resilience in overcoming industry challenges.
Overall, Bobobox closes the year with remarkable achievements, including profitability, positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).
The company noted it has consistently demonstrated steady growth since it was founded in 2018 and now operates with a strong financial position.

This year, the company launched Cabin 3.0, the latest iteration of its cabins, featuring major updates in design and advanced technology integration.
Focused on enhancing customer experience, Cabin 3.0 offers an upgraded stay-in-nature experience and is now available at Bobocabin Sukawana.
It is noted that Bobocabin Sukawana has achieved full occupancy in a short period, a nearly 200 percent increase in average room rates (ARR).
Revenue at this location has tripled compared to other cabin sites, highlighting the effectiveness of a customer-centric innovation strategy that aligns with market demands and the preferences of modern travelers.
The new Cabin 3.0 will soon be available at more Bobocabin locations across Indonesia, with the closest being at the latest location in Gunung Patuha, Bandung.
