Lalamove, a Hong Kong-headquartered on-demand delivery firm, has launched e-hailing services in Malaysia, according to local media.

“We are thrilled to announce our new ride-hailing service!” the company said in an Instagram post last week.

The company said the service is available 24/7, offers professional drivers, affordable and transparent pricing.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2013, Lalamove is an on-demand delivery platform born with a mission to empower communities by making delivery fast, simple and affordable. At the click of a button, individuals, small businesses and corporations can access a wide fleet of delivery vehicles operated by driver partners.

Lalamove also announced on Tuesday the launch of its thirteenth market in Istanbul,Turkey, marking its first venture into the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

“As we expand our footprint, we remain committed to empowering SMEs that play a vital role in the local economy. With over 3 million SMEs in Turkey, our logistics solutions will meet their diverse delivery needs, whether they require instant, scheduled or multi-stop deliveries,” the company said in a Linkedin post.

“We’re also passionate about creating opportunities for driver partners in Türkiye. With flexible working hours and a robust network of delivery jobs, driver partners can earn extra income while enjoying the autonomy of being their own boss, the company added.

“We aim to contribute positively to the local economy while providing logistics solutions that build trust and professionalism. We look forward to serving the Turkish market,” the company said.

Lalamove operates in 13 markets across Asia, Latin America and EMEA, information from its Linkedin page showed.
