Vietnamese automaker VinFast has officially started delivering the mini-sport utility vehicle (SUV) VF 3 to customers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, ahead of schedule.
This early delivery significantly contributes to achieving the target of delivering at least 20,000 VF 3 cars this year, the firm said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the first batch of VF 3 was delivered to customers who made the earliest deposits from a total of nearly 28,000 orders received in 66 hours of sales opening in May 2024.
VinFast will begin rolling out VF 3 vehicles to customers who have pre-ordered at showrooms and dealerships nationwide, following the delivery of the initial batch.
In 2024, the company aims to deliver at least 20,000 VF 3 in Vietnam.
VinFast noted that its delivery of the VF 3 in less than three months demonstrates its impressive production capabilities and efficiency.
This early fulfillment of orders also reinforces the company’s dedication to providing Vietnamese consumers with affordable, modern, and distinctive electric vehicles, it said.
“The overwhelming enthusiasm for our VF 3 has filled the entire VinFast team with pride and determination,
“This extraordinary response is the driving force behind our relentless pursuit of perfection and our commitment to meeting the growing demand,” said Vu Anh Tuan, Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Vietnam.
