Dr Clear Aligners (DCA), a Singapore-based dental clear aligner, has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round, securing $8 million from Insignia Ventures Partners.
This strategic investment will accelerate Dr Clear Aligners’ mission to make orthodontic treatment accessible and convenient for everyone, driving global expansion and enhancing technological capabilities, DCA said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, Insignia Ventures Partners’ investment will provide more than just capital as it brings a strategic partnership that will support Dr Clear Aligners in expanding its reach into new markets, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and deepening its presence in existing markets.
The funding will also be used to drive research and development in artificial intelligence and expand the orthodontic team’s capabilities.

According to the statement, the support from this funding round for Dr Clear Aligners innovation in the orthodontic experience, like its patented AI technology for clear aligner monitoring post-treatment, is key to the brand’s differentiation in the market, where the combination of advanced technology and in-house orthodontic expertise makes clear aligner treatments faster, better, and more affordable.
Dr Clear Aligners’ approach to the clear aligner treatment process coincides with the growing demand for clear aligners, driven by their comfort, aesthetic appeal, and reduced pain compared to traditional braces, positions the company at the forefront of a significant industry trend.

Founded in April 2020 by Ryan Teo, Kevin Lim, and Jayden Cheng, Dr Clear Aligners has rapidly grown its footprint, operating in seven countries with a robust network of over a thousand partner clinics.
The company also owns and operates 11 fully licensed dental clinics, offering a comprehensive range of dental services.
Most recently, Dr Clear Aligners partnered with one of the largest dental clinic chains in Southeast Asia (SEA) and introduced patented technology in patient treatment monitoring, the first of its kind in the region.
