Kindred Health Inc., a female technology (femtech) company in the Philippines, has announced the successful completion of its pre-Series A funding round, raising a total of $5.5 million.
The firm said in a statement on Monday that it is raising $2.5 million in the first tranche.
It has also secured commitments for a further $3 million in the second tranche upon completion of key milestones.
This brings the total round to $5.5 million, underscoring strong investor confidence in Kindred’s vision and potential, said the statement.
According to the statement, this funding round was led by Integra Partners, with participation from key investors including Kaya Founders, KSR Ventures, Ava Zobel Pessina, Pawikan Capital Group, Tenco Capital, and esteemed individuals such as Dr. Frans Beltran and Micaela Beltran.
Healthcare-focused venture builder Pulse63 Healthcare Ventures continues to play a crucial role in guiding the company’s strategic direction and growth, demonstrating unwavering support for Kindred’s mission.
This latest funding has been earmarked for key strategic initiatives including geographical expansion, investment in tech and new services and improvements to existing ones.
The firm also plans for ten additional clinics by year end, especially in underserved areas, ensuring greater accessibility to high-quality healthcare services for women across the Philippines.
It also intends to further improve its digital platforms, providing a more seamless online-to-offline (O2O) experience for its users.
In addition to enhancing existing services, it also plans to launch new offerings tailored to address critical women’s health issues, including infectious diseases, infertility, and menopause to name a few.
These new services will be designed to help women navigate and understand their options, offering personalized and comprehensive care solutions that empower them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
These strategic initiatives underscore Kindred’s dedication to paving the way for femtech innovation in the Philippines, sadi the statement.

Launched in 2021, Kindred is a firm involved in the healthcare and femtech sectors by offering accessible, affordable, and elevated healthcare services for women.
In 2022, it launched a web-based telehealth service and built a strong social media community.
By 2023, the firm raised $1 million in seed funding, opened its first clinic in Taguig City. It is noted that its client list has grown to more than 20,000 women by 2024.
The firm also introduced the Kindred mobile app to simplify service discovery, appointment booking, follow-ups and continuity of care by 2023.
The firm is currently partnering with more than 70 doctors across 25 sub-categories it offers consultations with trusted specialists from OBGyn to mental health, contraceptives, health screenings, immunizations, IV therapy, nutrition and fitness coaching, as well as other wellness services.
To keep up with this growing demand, Kindred is also launching a new clinic in Quezon City in July.
