AnyMind Group, a Singapore-based business process as a service (BPaaS) company for marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation, has on Wednesday announced the completion of its full acquisition of Malaysia-based e-commerce enabler, Arche Digital.
AnyMind Group said in a statement that Arche Digital will continue to operate under its Arche Digital brand in Malaysia, and its customers (principals) will also be able to tap on AnyMind Group’s resources, including AnyMind Group’s technology stack, local networks across Asia Pacific (APAC), and in-market operations teams.
AnyMind Group will first roll out its AnyX (e-commerce management), AnyTag (influencer marketing), and AnyChat (conversational commerce) platforms to Arche Digital’s principals, and look to further develop synergies between Arche Digital’s logistics and fulfillment expertise and capabilities with AnyMind Group’s global logistics platform, AnyLogi.
It is noted that Steven Tan, Founder and Managing Director of Arche Digital, will take up a management position in AnyMind Group’s leadership team.
“Having seen firsthand AnyMind’s technological capabilities and scale, there is only upside for our principals, as we look to open up even more possibilities across the business value chain,
“With the Malaysia e-commerce industry projected to grow by double digits this year, our principals now have the best resources to accelerate growth now and in the future,” he said.
Kosuke Sogo, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of AnyMind Group, said the acquisition of Arche Digital strengthens their local network capabilities in Malaysia, particularly in e-commerce operations and logistics expertise.
“We are especially excited about enhancing cross-border opportunities for Malaysian brands to expand overseas and bringing international brands into Malaysia, similar to the opportunities we offer through Digital Distribusi Indonesia (DDI),” he said.
Arche Digital was founded in 2015, and supports brands including L’Occitane en Provence, SC Johnson, Melvita, Elemis and Yale, for e-commerce strategy development, e-commerce operations, warehouse and logistics management, online store operations, marketing and customer service in Malaysia.
Arche Digital is expected to contribute to AnyMind Group’s earnings from the third quarter of 2024 (from July 2024).
Arche Digital is AnyMind Group’s ninth acquisition and second acquisition of an e-commerce enabler, following the completed acquisition of Indonesia-based DDI in 2023.
Founded in April 2016, AnyMind Group provides two broad offerings to brands and businesses, publishers and influencers: Brand Commerce and Partner Growth.
Brand Commerce provides businesses with the company’s platforms for manufacturing, e-commerce enablement, marketing and logistics, whilst Partner Growth provides web and mobile app publishers along with influencers and content creators with platforms for monetization and optimization.
Partner Growth customers can also tap on the company’s Brand Commerce offering.
AnyMind Group has over 1,600 staff across 22 offices in 15 markets, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
