T2P Co., Ltd., a payment solution firm in Thailand, has on Thursday announced its strategic partnership with Wise Platform, Wise’s infrastructure solution for banks, fintechs and enterprises.

This integration makes T2P the first fintech in Thailand to provide international money transfers with no exchange rate mark-ups or hidden fees within the DeepPocket app, the duo said in a statement.

By integrating with the application programming interface (APIs) built on Wise Platform, DeepPocket users will be able to make cheap, fast, and transparent international money transfers from Thai Baht (THB) to 16 currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, SGD, MYR, IDR, and more.

Additionally, over 60 percent of transfers sent through Wise globally are instant (less than 20 seconds), which brings greater speed and convenience to DeepPocket users.

“At T2P, we aim to empower our users with seamless, convenient and fast payments,

“We’re delighted to partner with Wise Platform to bring that to life, enabling DeepPocket users to access cheaper and faster international payments seamlessly within the app,” said Taweechai Pureetip, Chief Executive Officer of T2P Co., Ltd.

According to him, through this partnership with Wise Platform, users will also be able to enjoy international transfers at the mid-market rate, without any exchange rate mark-ups or hidden fees, in addition to the firm’s user-friendly application interface.

“Our focus at T2P has always been on building a one-stop financial platform for our customers, and this collaboration with Wise Platform is a step in the right direction,

“We are excited for our customers to try out this new service, which will streamline their international transfers, saving both time and money. This includes anyone who has a cross-border financial need, including parents who are sending money to their children studying abroad, as well as expats transferring funds back home,” he added.

Samarth Bansal, General Manager, Asia Pacific (APAC) at Wise Platform, added they are thrilled to enable millions of more Thais access to faster, cheaper international transfers from THB.

“With the digital remittances market in Thailand projected to grow by 5.71 percent, there is a growing need for people to send money internationally in multiple currencies quickly and affordably,

“We are delighted to now be a part of T2P’s solution to drive faster, cheaper and more transparent international transfers to their own customers, and look forward to embarking on this journey together to revolutionize cross-border payments,” he added.
